This latest version of Fridge is similar to Fridge 1.0. The main difference is that the pieces can now go over and under other each other. I'll post the full rules up soon, but in the meantime, take a look a the Fridge 1.0 rules to get the general idea.

The game starts with all the pieces on the freezer door. Each player starts with 20 black and 20 white magnets on their home base. The magnets are placed underneath your sticks to raise them off the surface of the refrigerator. This allows you to go over your opponent's sticks.

In the beginning it looks simple enough, with each player heading towards an enemy base.

But, as you can see, the pattern gets progressively complex as the players try to weave around, over and under each other. The picture to the left shows a finished game. One thing I like about this game is how it creates an organic artwork on the refrigerator. It looks much better than all the random junk we used to keep up there.

The game ends when one player touches all 3 of the opponent's bases. Jordan (purple) won this one but the rest of us played for 2nd, 3rd and last (me, unfortunately) place.

We just started a new game and added a few rules to make blocking more effective. In the current form it was too easy to just plow through the opposition. Hopefully the changes will result in even more interesting patterns.
